Pashotah, the wife of the well-known Nigerian content creator, Egungun of Lagos, has come forward to reveal that she is being blackmailed with a private video of her husband. In a candid Instagram post shared on Sunday, Pashotah disclosed that the blackmailer had approached her directly, threatening to release the video unless certain demands were met.
Although she had previously ignored similar attempts to target her family, Pashotah said she felt compelled to speak out this time because the blackmailer’s threats were specifically aimed at her. She shared screenshots of the disturbing messages in which the blackmailer demanded actions to prevent the video from being leaked online.
In her statement, Pashotah explained that the video was a private recording intended solely for her, but it had somehow ended up in the wrong hands. Despite this, she made it clear that she remained confident in her husband’s integrity, emphasizing her active involvement in his work and personal life.
Pashotah also took the opportunity to highlight the strength and resilience of her marriage. She explained that her relationship with Egungun of Lagos has been built on years of trust, loyalty, and commitment, having weathered numerous challenges since the couple first came together nearly a decade ago.
In her post, she wrote, “This relationship has been coming for over 6/8 years when we both had nothing. It’s built on TRUST, UNDERSTANDING, LOYALTY, COMMITMENT, and so much more. So there’s nothing that can bring us down, not even now.”
Pashotah firmly dismissed the blackmail attempt, asserting that it would not shake her marriage or force her to comply with the demands. She expressed her unwavering commitment to her husband, confidently stating that their bond cannot be broken by any external pressure or manipulation.
Her powerful message serves as a testament to the couple’s strong relationship and determination to overcome any challenges that may come their way.
